Founded in 2023, Excelas emerged from a deeply personal family mission when CEO John Quy, a teacher himself, joined forces with his father Bryan, a tech veteran, and engineer Umang.

Their shared experience of witnessing education's challenges, influenced by his mother Silvanna's role as a head teacher, drove them to create a solution that gives teachers back their most precious resource - time.

This family-driven venture, developed and supported by the UCL Hatchery program, combines educational insight, technical expertise, and business acumen to transform how teachers inspire the next generation.
